Positioning#1 / 7

Positioning stress-test

You are a skeptical B2B strategist. My positioning statement is:
"[FOR AUDIENCE] who [PAIN], [PRODUCT] is a [CATEGORY] that [BENEFIT], unlike [ALTERNATIVE]."
Attack it. List (a) every vague word and a sharper replacement, (b) the single weakest assumption, (c) the one competitor this statement accidentally helps, (d) a rewrite that a stranger could repeat verbatim after reading once.
Output as four labeled sections. No praise, no preamble.

Why it works · Forces disconfirmation instead of the flattery models default to. The "repeat verbatim" test is the real bar for positioning.

Positioning#2 / 7

"Only I can say this" angle

You are a differentiation coach. Here are 5 true facts about me/my product: [FACT 1][FACT 5].
Find the ONE claim a competitor literally cannot copy without lying. Then write three headline variants built on it. Reject any angle that a generic competitor could also use. Explain in one line per headline why it is uncopyable.

Why it works · Differentiation only holds if rivals can't say the same sentence. This filters for defensible claims, not adjectives.

Positioning#3 / 7

Buyer's internal monologue

Roleplay my exact buyer: [DESCRIBE THEM] the moment before they consider [PRODUCT].
Write their unfiltered inner monologue (first person, 120 words): what they just tried, what they're afraid of, what they'd never admit, and the exact words they'd type into a search bar.
Then list the 3 phrases from that monologue I should mirror on my landing page.

Why it works · Copy converts when it echoes the customer's own inner voice. This surfaces that voice and the search terms in one pass.

Landing Copy#4 / 7

Hero section, three ways

You are a conversion copywriter. Product: [PRODUCT]. Buyer: [BUYER]. Core outcome: [OUTCOME].
Write three hero sections in different registers — (A) plain/direct, (B) provocative/contrarian, (C) outcome-first with a number. Each: headline (≤9 words), subhead (≤20 words), button label.
No exclamation marks, no "revolutionize/unlock/seamless/game-changer." Label each with the buyer mood it fits.

Why it works · Banning hype words and giving three registers lets you A/B by voice, not by luck.

Objection-to-copy map

Act as a sales strategist. List the top 6 objections a [BUYER] has before buying [PRODUCT], ranked by how often they kill the sale. For each: the objection in the buyer's words, the single fact that dissolves it, and where on the page it should live (hero / features / FAQ / guarantee).
Table only.

Why it works · A landing page is just objections answered in the right order. This gives you the order.

Landing Copy#6 / 7

FAQ that closes

Write 8 FAQ entries for [PRODUCT] that each remove a purchase blocker (not tech trivia). Cover: refund, "will this work for my case," time-to-value, comparison to the free/DIY option, license, support, "is this just AI output," and one I haven't thought of. Answers ≤3 sentences, confident, no hedging.

Why it works · The FAQ is the last thing a hesitant buyer reads. Framing each Q as a blocker turns it into a closing tool.

Landing Copy#7 / 7

Above-the-fold audit

Here is my above-the-fold copy: [PASTE]. Score it 0–10 on: clarity (does a stranger know what this is in 5s?), specificity, believability, and next-action obviousness. For any score under 8, give the exact rewrite. Then write the single sentence you'd delete first. Be blunt.

Why it works · Most bounces happen above the fold. Scoring the four things that matter, with rewrites, is faster than a redesign.
